When a game is tied at 8-8, the player receiving serve chooses a one or two point tiebreak. The players still must serve to get a point. The possible tiebreak scores are: 9-8, 10-8, and 10-9.

2. What are the two variations of squash?

The differences between the two are: Hardball is played on a bigger court, and with a harder ball. Softball is the more prevalent variation, and has been since the 80s. The pro circuit (PSA) is softball, and so are most tournaments. Hardball is some times referred to as "doubles" because you can play doubles on a hardball court. Doubles is fairly simple, with one player from each team plays on each side (forehand or backhand), and the other half of the team plays the opposite side.
