Lee Majors was born on April 23, 1939 in Wyandotte, Missouri. His real name at birth was Harvey Lee Yeary. Lee Majors graduated from Middlesboro High School in 1957, and he graduated from EKU in 1962 with a degree in both History and in Physical Education. Lee starred in the television series "Big Valley" from 1965 to 1969. Lee starred in the movie "Will Penny" in 1968.

In 1969, he starred in the short lived series "The Men from Shiloh". Lee then went on to play Steve Austin in the hit series "The Six Million Dollar Man" from 1973 to 1978, and he starred in another hit television series "The Fall Guy" from 1981 to 1986. On July 28, 1973, Lee married long time girlfriend, Farrah Fawcett.

In 1988, Lee married Karen Velez, the 1985 Playmate of the Year. Together, Lee and Karen have a daughter named, Nikki Loren, who was born in 1988.

In 1994, Lee and Karen divorced. Later that year, he met Faith Noell, who he became engaged to in January 2000.

in the television program "Mama's Family".
