Bo Jackson turned down a contract from the New York Yankees to play football for Auburn University from 1982 through 1985. Jackson won the Heisman Trophy in 1985. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1986 NFL Draft. Jackson didn't not want to play for the Buccaneers, so instead he played baseball for the Kansas City Royals organization.
