Guidelines for Quiz Creation

Important: ALL of the following sets of guidelines are relevant for the category you would like to submit to. Please read all of them carefully and keep them in mind as you develop your quiz. Thanks!

The following sets of guidelines apply to quizzes created in WWE ..

Guidelines for WWE .

This category is restricted. Only well written and original quizzes will be accepted. You MUST have five (5) quizzes online in different categories other than Entertainment for your quiz to be considered.

Below are the guidelines:

1. Names of television shows and Pay Per Views must be capitalized and placed within quotations. Example: "Summerslam" 2001.

*Also, when stating that something is a Pay Per View, please capitalize those three words, like I have done (Pay Per View).

2. Names of titles are to be capitalized and spelled out in their entirety throughout the entire quiz (NO QUOTATIONS ARE NEEDED for the following examples and all things that are similar: WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship, WWF Heavyweight Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship, WWE Women's Championship, etc.).

Please note: The championships that are listed are not all of the titles. There are many more in the WWE, and many more in other professional wrestling organizations.

*The reason for this is because the WWF/WWE has more than one title. Just saying the WWF title isn't enough. You must be precise.

3. Names of matches are to be capitalized, including the word match, throughout the entire quiz (NO QUOTATIONS ARE NEEDED for the following examples and all things similar: Hell In The Cell Match, Last Man Standing Match, Bra and Panties Match, Lights Out Match, Ladder Match, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, etc.).

Please note: These are not all the names of matches. There are many names to different matches, and each one must follow the examples given.

4. The professional wrestling organizations, such as World Wrestling Entertainment, Ohio Valley Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Champion Wrestling, DO NOT have to be spelled out. Using the acronyms, such as WWE, WWF, ECW, WCW, TNA, OVH, CZW, and IWA are allowed.

5. Wrestlers' finishing and submission moves MUST capitalized and placed within quotations throughout the entire quiz. Examples: "The Last Ride," "The Pedigree," "Sweet Chin Music," "Five Star Frog Splash".

6. Using abbreviations, such as HHH, PPV, IC, RVD, HBK, SCSA, etc., are NOT permissible in a wrestling quiz.

The reason behind this is not everyone taking this quiz will know that HHH means Triple H or Hunter Hearst Helmsley, not everyone will know that PPV means Pay Per View, not everyone will know that IC means Intercontinental. You might say that all wrestling fans should know this, but in fact we have players from all over the world, who speak different languages, meaning English is not their native tongue.

7. When creating a True or False question, or a Yes or No question, you don't need a hint for True or False or Yes or No questions. There are now buttons for the answer, like multiple choice.

8. Fill In The Blank questions cannot exceed 5 words and must have a hint (do not remove the computer generated hint, such as One Word, Two Words, etc., however, you may add additional hints to them for quiz players.). No form of punctuation is allowed. Also for Fill In The Blank questions you must be absolutely positive that you are using the correct spelling. If you are unsure of how to spell a name correctly, go to www.wwe.com for the correct spelling.

Please note: New quizmakers cannot use the fill in the blank format, this is regardless of how many quizzes you have played. Fill in the blanks are for experienced quizmakers only. It is at the discretion of the Entertainment editors as to when this will be allowed.

9. Please do not use profanity, even if you are using a direct quote from a wrestler. Profanity is not allowed or accepted anywhere on this site.

10. When providing interesting info, it must be actual interesting info. Interesting info is added info (FACTS), which thoroughly explains your answer. It cannot be your opinion, or what you believe to be true. Statements like: "He's my fave wrestler," or "Duh! You should have known that!" are not considered actual interesting info.

ALL wrestling quizzes MUST have interesting information for every single question.

Please note: If your interesting information does not fully explain your answer, your quiz will be sent back to you for repairs. It is best never to leave a quiz player guessing as to why their answer was right or wrong. This is the main reason behind supplying proper interesting information.

Please play other people's quizzes before making any new ones. We will not accept quizzes that do not contain new and original questions and information. We DO NOT accept ANAGRAM or SCRAMBLE quizzes at all. We thank you for your cooperation. Thank you!

As of May 6, 2002, WWF has legally changed its name to WWE. Therefore, all quizzes must have WWE before the names of championships and in the title. This will not affect quizzes that are already online or that were already submitted prior to that date.

Only quizzes which provide new information will be accepted. Quizzes which are submitted with the same information in the quizzes that are already online, will NOT be accepted. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
