Are there any electron microscopes in Pakistan?

Question #109995. Asked by ErumSaeed. (Oct 21 09 2:45 AM)

In 2008 there was at least one - an electron microscope in Karachi's Jinnah Post Graduate Medical College was not being used, according to this report. I also find other publications by Pakistani research institutes that involve electron microscopes, but they may have traveled abroad to perform the actual scanning.

There are several types, and yes, there are some that are very common.

Electron Microscopes are scientific instruments that use a beam of highly energetic electrons to examine material objects on a very fine scale. This examination can yield the surface features of the objects, the shape and size of the particles making up the object at very high magnification and resolution.
