The Guinness World Record for a roller coaster marathon was set by Richard Rodriguez in 2007 with 405 hours and 40 minutes, using two Blackpool Pleasure Beach coasters. How many circuits did he complete in that time?

An extensive Google search does not reveal an exact number, however, it can be estimated mathmaticaly. The Big One takes 3:00 per circuit . The Big Dipper takes 2:28 per circuit. It is also listed that Rodriguez got a five minute break each hour. By that reasoning, he could have ridden The Big One 10 times in 30 minutes and The Big Dipper 10 times in 25 minutes. Plus the 5 minute break the total is about 20 circuits an hour.

So if we take 405.66 and multiply it by 20 we get 8113 circuits! That is pretty nuts!
