    Flag Laws and Regulations
By Executive Order, the flag flies 24 hours a day at the following locations: See:
    http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq.html#3
The flag should be displayed on all days, especially on Memorial Day (half-staff
until noon), the last Monday in May. See:
    http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq.html#3

All the sites about the American flag say there are only two places the American
flag is never flown at half-staff. The Moon and In Battle. See:
    http://www.petersonflags.com/flaginfo.htm
    http://www.geocities.com/sary2k/FlagPg.html

However, they go on to contradict themselves (I think) by mentioning a third.
Everywhere after 12:00 noon on Memorial Day. See:
    http://www.thegentree.com/dar/ketoctin/Ketpg4.html
    http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq.html

I could only find a trivia site that says different.
    Arlington National Cemetery
The USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor
    The Betsy Ross House
    The Alamo
    The moon
    http://www.hereintown.com/trivia.htm#Halfstaff

It keeps the American flag at Arlington at half-staff all day, every day except weekends. See:
    http://www.arlingtoncemetery.com/every-day.htm

Arlington is wrong, I saw a picture of the USS Arizona Memorial with the flag at half-staff,
so that's wrong. The Betsy Ross House web site says the flag is flown at half-staff. Someone
else can find a source about the Alamo and Iwo Jima, but I think the flags there are flown at
    half-staff as well.

    FunBobby says:

This website has many places listed .. including The White House,Arlington Cemetary and The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (all not lowered as they are already there to commemorate the dead)Another flag is the one at The Alamo which is nailed on and therefore never lowered to half staff.
