This was the basis for a sketch by The Two Ronnies, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett. Translated it says 'Have you any ham?' 'Yes we have ham.' 'Have you any eggs?' 'Yes we have eggs.' 'Okay ham and eggs'
