    Question #24153. Linus asks:

Did Marilyn Monroe and Albert Einstein ever meet?

    Tented

Despite the undoubted fact that Monroe idolized Einstein and the oft told 'funny' about 'my looks your brain etc' the nearest they seem to have come to meeting is both staying at the same hotel on the same date, but with no evidence of having met.

I always wonder this after seeing the Nicholas Roeg film "Insignificance". I see that the skirt blowing scene of "The Seven Year Itch" was recorded in the year before Einstein died.
I have found no evidence that they did, but they obviously both moved in 50's American celebrity circles and Marilyn did famously have intellectual leanings, so it isn't that unlikely.
    Does anyone else know this?
