The Beatles started off by being called the Quarrymen as this was a derivative of Quarry Bank School attended by John and Paul. They later changed their name to the Silver Beatles, and some time later dropped the Silver to become the world famous Beatles. The rest, as we know, is history. May 28 00, 6:21 PM
