I have billions of eyes yet I live in darkness. I have millions of ears yet only four lobes. I have no muscles, yet I move two hemispheres. What am I?

I believe it was featured in a Batman cartoon, and the answer they gave was the brain.
I hear that Sphinx are fond of riddles. Now if I could just track down the last one I met, I think I finally have his answer...

Indeed, it doesn't appear in any Greek myth but was in the episode of "Batman: The Animated Series" which introduced Edward Nygma aka The Riddler. In this version, he invented a successful computer game called "Riddle of the Minotaur", but the company fired him rather than pay him for his work.

Actually, spelt "Minotour", it is probably a Cretan tour-bus operator.

The answer is specifically the human brain.
