Well, there's Frankie Frisch, the "Fordham Flash."

I thought there were more than 8, and I was right. They are, in addition to Eddie, Mickey and Frankie:
Cool Papa Bell
Early Wynn
Ted Lyons
Rube Marquand
Bill Foster
Red Faber
Max Carey
Dave Bancroft
Kid Nichols
Mordecai Brown
Herb Pennock
George Davis
Might even be more, as some stats are incomplete for very early years and for some managers and execs who played briefly.

Interesting, isn't it, that a number of these switchhitters were pitchers?

Possible reason for that is that pitchers have always been predominantly bunters, and it doesn't take a lot of drilling to do it either way, depending on the handedness of the pitcher the batter is facing. Lots of ball players bat/throw with opposite arms, which is odd to me, but my son finds it perfectly comfy.
