How many episodes of "Lupin the Third" are there?

    Question #61174. Asked by iamtheotaku.

    gmackematix

The TV version of this anime ran from 1972-85 and had three series. Somewhat bizarrely you can tell which series you are watching by the colour of Arsene Lupin's jacket.
"Lupin III" (Series 1) - Green jacket - 23 episodes
"Shin Lupin III" (Series 2) - Red jacket - 155 episodes (one new episode weekly for 3 years)
"Lupin III, Part III" (Series 3) - Pink jacket - 50 episodes
    Total number of episodes: 228
