    Regarding the infamous yellow polka-dot bikini, was it a yellow bikini with polka-dots or a bikini with yellow polka-dots?

    		Having trawled through hundreds of fascinating bikini pics, my opinion is that it was a yellow bikini with polka dots on it, of various colours.

    		I had a tape as a little kid that had a cartoon cover with various characters from the songs on it and the gal was wearing a yellow bikini with black polka-dots and was standing next to the purple people eater.

    		Hey, I'm old! It was a big hit in 1960, played all summer long, and every summer after that for years. She was a little older than me, but I was in love. She got it for Christmas, and she was gorgeous. This is how I remember her.

    		Generally speaking polka-dots are black or white on a contrasting background. They can be multicolored.
