By volume, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Corporation is the largest tyre manufacturer in the world with interests in Dunlop and many other regional and second line brands around the globe. Goodyear is involved in every area of the rubber market and was founded by the Seiberling brothers who used the name of the American discoverer of the vulcanising process as the brand for their company. However, Charles Goodyear, was never associated with the firm which adopted his name.

According to the BBC, it's...
...wait for it...
LEGO.
ie They have made the largest amount of small rubber play tyres.
Sorry for the slight sneakiness...

Where is the Link supporting you claim? Certainly Goodyear, Continental or Michelin have outdone Lego.

Well...I'll be durned...lookie What-A-Mess... this agrees with 500Monkeys!!!
“Worldwide, which company manufactured the most tires last year?”
I will only give you one hint: They made 330 million of them in 2001.
Think about it…
The answer is LEGO! They made all 330 million tires last year for the various kits and assortments that end up on most adolescent boys and girls bedroom floor, waiting for a parent to step on them at 3 in the morning.

The 'largest manufacturer'? Not the manufacturer of the greatest number of tyres, or the greatest weight, or the greatest sales value?
OK, I believe you if you say it's Lego, but I think you should tell us just how large Lego actually is.
