Is it a half-brother or sister if they have the same mother? Like, if your brother has the same mother as you, but a different father, is he still your 'half' brother? A child with the same father and a different mother is a half, correct?

Half siblings share either the same mother or same father. They don't share both parents. My mother HATE that word half when talking about a sibling that share only one parent with each other. She thinks your still brother and sisters no matter what. Mar 27 07, 9:14 PM
