I've had dogs, chickens, pigs, a horse, a turtle, a rabbit, a turtle, and a hermit crab.
I've always had cats and I still do.

Dog (Bella), Rainbow Lorikeet (Sunshine), 2 chooks (Milly and Molly), a King Pidgeon we call Megapidgeon, a dozen Budgerigars and assorted fish. As guests we have another dog (Bart), an Alexandrine Parrot (Alex) and a ringneck parrot mate called Preshman. Bit of a menagerie! I have one dog named Shadow, who is a lab/chow mix. I also have a cat named Speckle, two gerbils named Lightning and Thunder, a brown fancy mouse named Squeak, a white feeder mouse named Snowball, and I just got a yellow and white kitten today who I've decided to call Prince. We have two dogs, one english setter and one dalmation/black lab cross, two half siamese cats, um 21 horses, four donkeys, and six goldfish. I have also had a cow once,(had to sell her) and sheep. Currently my family has 14 dogs (11 are Rat Terriers), 3 cats, 3 Koi, 1 horse, 1 mini horse, 1 mini donkey, 3 chickens, and a chinchilla.
