We gave the bettas the color enhancing food. That is about all we can give them. Rambler, I can just imagine your dog....causing squeaking sounds all over the place and having a really good time while doing so. Reply #1. Dec 26 08, 8:46 AM |

My 5 adult cats and 3 kittens got a selection of fish. They already have plenty of toys that make a noise. Reply #2. Dec 26 08, 9:28 AM |

All the dogs got new toys, including a hedgehog that grunts and a tree that sings. The cats got new toys and treats. And they all got part of christmas dinner. Reply #3. Dec 26 08, 12:48 PM |

Our cat received prolonged belly rubs, extra chin/head scratches, and lots of lap time . He is an older cat on a special diet, so no treats or toys. He is just enjoying having all of his humans home for the holidays! He has his own tree every year decorated with cat ornaments, and is congratulating himself once more on not finding a new kitten or puppy under it on Christmas morning :) Reply #4. The cats got greenies for treats and a new scratch post/climbing toy. The younger dog got a squeaky stuffed elephant toy and the older dog got a chew toy since he hates squeakers lol. Then both the dogs got a rawhide chew. Reply #5. Dec 26 08, 7:38 PM |

Millie got a squeaky skunk, which she picked out herself at Beasty Feast. She also got a bag of peanut yogurt drops, which she loves, and a free goodie bag of treats from the nice clerk in the store. In addition, she had a holiday feast of turkey, gravy and yams. Reply #7. Dec 27 08, 11:15 AM |

Oh I know, you can't help but spoil them at this time of year but unfortunately the rich food does usually upset their stomachs. My dog Maxx also got a collar that has flashing lights on it. It's great on the dark mornings, when I take him out before going to work. When he chases after a rabbit, at least now I can see him! Oh well another Christmas over and done with and now there's New Year to look forward to, or Hogmanay as we call it in bonny Scotland. I'm making a curry dish, so Maxx will definitely not get any of that! Reply #9. Dec 28 08, 8:24 AM |

I have a white German shepherd who was born on my birthday. He cannot eat "people food" and is strictly an IAMS dog. He got a few toys- the squeaky ball is his favorite. How he can pee, poop, and bark with a ball in his mouth......... He did give us a Christmas present though..... a $185 vet bill! Got a checkup, shots, and had his claws clipped. Reply #10. Our cats usually have the dental cat biscuits, but they got some red meat as a treat. They have a little toy mouse that they play with (when no-one is looking) and one of the cats likes 'stealing' hair ties (just fabric stretchy ones) which she flings and catches very cleverly. My dog is a total pig, so she helped herself to a helping of Christmas dinner (when my sister went to the loo she was in her chair in the blink of an eye), then later got a new squeaky chicken, some rawhide chews and a pig's ear (eww). Then there was that l-o-o-o-n-n-n-g walk in the snow a few days after Christmas, the particular walk in the snow that gave me chilbains and blisters all over my hands and feet (her Christmas present to me).
