Subject: Rabbit or hamster?

Which is more suitable for you? A rabbit or a hamster? I don't even know which. They're both cute, but I've never had a rabbit before so I would have to say hamster.

Well, I've had both, and many other little critters. A rabbit would suit me better than a hamster, but still not my 'cage creature' of choice.

I swear, rats are wonderful pets. They don't bite, can tolerate handling, and they're very entertaining!

I've had both and I would have to say that a hamster is more suitable for my lifestyle. In my experience, hamsters are much more low maintenance, I once had a rabbit that died after being with us for a year simply because a stranger tried to feed it a carrot. Literally, being fed by a stranger scared it so much that it died.

As pets I don't see much of a difference, other than size. They pretty much eat and do the same things.

I perfer a rabbit rather than hamster anyday. I had a rabbit for a pet, however, when my sight started to go; my sister helped me take care of it.

I would have to say rabbits because I used to show several breeds.

I have had hamsters and they are fun to watch. I also love rabbits, chinchillas, rats, meerkats and ferrets.
