A local rescue group just picked up three cocker spaniel puppies from a shelter. They are 8 weeks old, and were left in a shelter by their breeder because they had cherry eye :( Anyway, the rescue has put a webcam in their bedroom, so you can see them play and sleep. They are so lovely. They're not always in there, if they're at the vet, or in the rest of the house, but it's lovely to see them if they are!

That was cute. Here is a story about eleven puppies that were found in a dumpster in a little town near Fresno California. The good news is that all of them have now been adopted to good homes. They are now asleep, and not taking advantage of the two beds, preferring instead to lie together on top of one another for comfort :) They look lovely, and I am so glad they were rescued; and when it's time for them to be adopted, I know the rescue home will find them great families. It's hilarious. They are all lying in the same bed, obviously shattered, yet their little heads are alert. They must be able to hear something going on in the house and like the usual nosey cocker, eager to know what it is, but too tired to get up! Reply #11. Feb 10 10, 11:44 PM |

The webcam has now been changed, focusing instead on a new rescue - a cocker spaniel called Kramer. He has come down with pneumonia, and has to be fed by hand :( If you look at him, send him your good wishes. He looks like a lovely dog.
