One of my cats loves to curl up inside of boxes & plastic bags & go to sleep! She also loves laying on my purse & on newspapers. I used to have a cat that loved to sleep in an empty bathtub or sink. Reply #4. Nov 20 10, 11:47 AM |

My cat has lots of weird habits. She will only drink water out of the bathroom sink faucet. She loves the smell of bleach. Whenever I use it for cleaning, she has to be in the room, sniffing, then she races around the house like she's gone nuts. She loves to lick photographs, and she loves tomato sauce, especially from canned ravioli. Reply #6. Nov 20 10, 12:10 PM |

My cats love to knead. When I am sitting in the glider petting one cat, the others are kneading the grass while waiting for their turn. Reply #8. Nov 20 10, 12:43 PM |

My Chihuahua also likes to curl under a blanket, but you never know which one. We have to be careful where we sit, we have sat on him by accident. My mixed breed likes to treat the house like a race course. In the front door, over the armchair, out the back in lops of 5 or 6. Animals are so fun. Reply #9. Nov 20 10, 2:00 PM |

My dog also loves to have a go at the hoover. I know most dogs do this but it's a real pain in the a** trying to hoover when he's biting it and barking at it. I'm not sure what he thinks I'm doing, maybe he thinks it's a form of play or the noise frightens him but he really is a pest when I'm trying to get my house all clean for visitors coming and I'm on a deadline! I was just watching a video done in Japan where they introduced boxes of all different sizes to this large domestic cat. It was determined to get in it, no matter how small the box was. It must make them feel safe or something. Animals are really fascinating creatures. Reply #11. Nov 21 10, 8:00 AM |

My cat Midnight thinks no matter where you sit in the living room, that you must pet her. She also thinks that if you are opening a can that you are about to feed her. Reply #13. Nov 21 10, 4:51 PM |

My cat will drag the mail off the couch, haul it behind the recliner and make a bed of it. He also likes ta sleep in the tub. Damn thing was born the day my Moms died and I think he picked up a few of her quirks. She would pass out anywhere. Reply #14. Nov 22 10, 8:25 AM |

Cats love sitting in boxes. My cat's favourite pastime was to sit in the lid of scrabble, or monopoly, or whatever game we happened to be playing at the time. It made checking the rules a bit difficult. I've seen a huge male lion in the zoo happily sitting in a discarded TV box, so it seems to go through the whole cat family. Reply #15. After sitting and lying on a particular spot on the rug in the loungeroom for weeks, Polly our cat, has decided not to even walk on the rug but jumps from the floorboards to the coffee table where she makes herself comfortable and falls asleep. Tonight she decided to go and lay on the ironing board in the laundry. LOL Reply #16. Nov 24 10, 5:38 AM |

One of my cats was adopted; he use to live with an abusive family. When we brought him home he would never walk over the floor of a doorway; he always jumped that space. Reply #17. Feb 15 11, 4:34 PM |

My bird loves to pick at the bars of his cage, flit from mirror to mirror and dance in front of each, play with his bells, and rub his head or body against my finger. Oh, and the more noise he makes, the better :) Reply #18. Feb 21 11, 1:00 PM |

We hung bells on our doorknob at Christmastime, and our labs learned to ring the bell with their noses when they needed to go outside. :) Reply #19. Feb 21 11, 1:06 PM |
