I didn't think it was possible as I am not a Yankee fan, but their head office deserves a huge thumbs down.
Here comes Derek Jeter off the disabled list, three hits away from being the first Yankee in history to have 3000 career hits.
What does the head office do? Raised each ticket price for the next week, anywhere from $20-$45.
The dynasty was "The House That Ruth Built" first, but after that became "The House That Fans Helped Maintain". Shame on the Yankee organization.

I *am* a Yankees fan ... of the players, and of their history. This is unbelievable. The front office needs to remember that 'it's the fans, stupid'. Instead of raising prices, they should have lowered them, as a show of support. O.K... According to the NY Daily News, prices have risen in the *secondary* market.
