Ok, but what happened to our thread? Does anyone know? There was some funny stuff in there!

I see what you mean. I can't seem to find it anywhere either. We'd like to take the credit for a swift, silent boarding mission but sadly whatever happened to it was nothing to do with us.

Aww, Pirates... all that fun and laughter vanished? I'd start a petition to bring back the silly llamas but it doesn't sound quite right coming from a fine, upstanding, serious llama like me.

Let us know when you find out what happened?

And I've just realised, I'll never be Poet Laureate now! :'(

I'd vote for you bunny, you'd be a much better choice than the current whining, petulant and talentless occupant.
Flopsy for Laureate!

LOL, can you imagine the Queen's face?

Though she'd probably like my verses better, she obviously doesn't like his. Move over Motion, Mopsy Moving In!

The day after he was appointed Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman was asked what he thought of a Guardian editorial which criticised his appointment.
Was he, as the Guardian alleged, "arbitrary and irrelevant"?

"Yes," he replied, "thank God."

Have you read 'The Uncommon Reader' by Alan Bennett?
I'm sure that the queen would prefer your verses.

Well, I guess I'll have to try and find out what happened to my thread. I don't think there was anything nasty in it?

It was fun all the way!
Surely if its removal was anything but accidental, someone would have told you?
Otherwise how do we learn from mistakes?

There wasn't anything nasty in it the last time I looked - of course, you Pirates were all very rude about us sweet, wonderful, charming llamas but we expected nothing less!

Nope, not yet. I've been too busy to try and find out, but I'll send a note to one of the moderators soon. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

Ok, it would appear that the thread has disappeared into thin air. RMG looked for it and couldn't find it. He told me that no one deleted it, but sometimes entire threads disappear. Strange, but....oh well, we can always do it again! :)

Another one bites the dust - How was your day dear, just disappeared in a puff of pffft dust... sad when two of the most innocuous threads disappear...
