Subject: Salami's Blog-Pourri

I've never had a blog before. So, here goes nothing.

I'll talk about everything, especially when I'm bored. Food, games, movies, music, what I'm doing, etc. I don't have Facebook or Twitter, either, so this is my everything now. :D

Also, feel free to ask me questions, join in my discussions, etc. It's a free-for-all.... And I'd really like other people's input on some topics.

The object immediately to my left is a selection of geological samples. So I could either bash zombies, use a slingshot or combine the minerals to create a powerful toxin or antidote.
The object to my right is a ginger cat.

I'm glad that the pains turned out to be nothing serious, however uncomfortable. The last thing we need is a plague in the herd.

It seems that I shall be fighting off zombie hordes with "Day of Infamy" by Walter Lord. Or maybe the book review I should be writing on it. A book is all very well to teach me about how other people coped with surprise attacks, but as a weapon against a zombie? I'm dead. ;)

I hope you get well soon, it sounds awful.

Forks are nice. Stab stab stab.

A friend of mine said Chapstick when asked. That'll show em!

New favorite song: "Radioactive", a cover of the Imagine Dragons song by Pentatonix with Lindsey Stirling.

I had a wrinkle. So a refloat was needed. I hurt, very itchy, and can hardly see. It took forever to type this, and I apologize for typos. :)

Poor salami, I hope everything heals up quickly and that your family run around after you as long as you need them to.
The idea of eye surgery frightens me more than childbirth ever did. :)

I swear I hyperventilated so much during surgery...

They gave me one Valium and three ibuprofen and a few numbing drops. Suctioned the eye for pressure then a few more drops, black out, then stare up at laser. Stare at laser... I could see them cut the cornea flap, and I could freely move my eye around. Very frightening. I clutched the orange crocodile they give you. Lol.

Better now. Foggy. I'm unable to read too much... I can enlarge the screen to see the words clearly, but its still tricky. :)

And it didnt hurt.... The refloat did though. :(

No, they'll have to sedate me completely. Or knock me out with a cricket bat. No way could I sit still for any of that.
I hope you heal fast and easily.
And don't strain them too much playing and writing quizzes.

I think you can opt to be completely knocked out. I'm not sure.

The one thing I'm worried about is straining my eyes because of my iPad. So I take it a little at a time. :)

At this moment..... None.

When you asked, umm, 4.

You can see his fingers from Colorado?
Wow, that's about 1700 miles. Nothing wrong with your long distance vision then.

No, it was three fingers. But one was kind of twitchy so your delicate vision ay have registered the blur as two separate digits.

Speaking of which, is your vision less blurry now?

More blurry now. More medicine too. My eyes became swollen.

Oh, that'd awful. Get well soon!
