This is the place to tell all of Fun Trivia what your weather is today or was yesterday. It doesn't have to be extreme, although extreme is...well, extreme, just tell us temp, precipitation, wind, lightning, hurricane, cyclone, monsoon, typhoon, tornado, flood, heat, cold, all of your weather related phenomena. Nothing is too mundane. We pray that it isn't too extreme, as in extremely dangerous!
I am a certified severe weather spotter here in SW Ohio. I would love to find out about weather around the FT World.

Thank you!

Temps in the low 40s. Rain predicted for most of the next 24 hours or so.
What's it doing where you live, or are visiting during this holiday(here in the States) season?

Good and bad weather news from N/West England.............Good news is that for a change it is bright and sunny. Bad news is that it is not much above freezing (garden is still white with frost at almost Midday)........currently 38F.

Rather chilly here in Yorkshire today, there is snow in the Yorkshire Dales, looks beautiful on the photographs, plus it was snowing over the other side of the county from me, I'm on the outskirts of Leeds and it was snowing on the M62 over at Huddersfield. Looking at the forecast we aint having a white Christmas! Wrap up and stay warm...oh and we have more rain forecast (just for a change)

You know, I don't know why it is "traditional" to have a "White Christmas (in UK at least) because in my 78 years of life, if I say I have seen 4 White Christmases, that may be an over-estimation.
This year is forecast to be no exception.......currently 46F and wet, which is what Christmas is also forecast to be.

Recently, a few years ago.........Christmas Day was very mild, 54F. June 21st, on Midsummer's Day, it was 2 degrees colder - 52F!!
So our usual weather pattern is Mild & wet winters, Cool and wet summers.

This alleged winter storm that we are currently in the midst of, is all rain, lots of it, but still, too warm for snow or ice. We can certainly use the rain, just not all in a couple of days.
How is it where you are?

Raining all day today.
Could be much worse,
could be snow,
could be ice,
could be fire, as is now happening in Australia, best of luck Australia.

I'm a little nervous. The weather forecasters keep calling for severe and violent storms friday night into early saturday. 60 to 70 mph winds. Lots of lightening and thunder....no sleep for me :(
