This is the place to tell all of Fun Trivia what your weather is today or was yesterday. It doesn't have to be extreme, although extreme is...well, extreme, just tell us temp, precipitation, wind, lightning, hurricane, cyclone, monsoon, typhoon, tornado, flood, heat, cold, all of your weather related phenomena. Nothing is too mundane. We pray that it isn't too extreme, as in extremely dangerous!
I am a certified severe weather spotter here in SW Ohio. I would love to find out about weather around the FT World.

O right Most extreme I lived through was.. that other year (I forget what it was). Lot of people didn't feel it, and it's actually not extreme at all (except maybe for those living in that area). But we had a tremor few years back: I felt the ground shaking and kept repeating: "Don't get uppp, don't get up" while hanging on to my desk chair for dear life. In 2003, I was living in a two-story apartment when Hurricane Isabelle blew into our neck of the woods here in Pennsylvania. It wasn't very safe, but I opened the door to see how bad it was (see... ha ha, for as you know I'm totally blind). Where I lived, there were steps (wood) with a hole in between, and a wood railing. Nineteen steps. Rickety railings too. Definetly not safe, what we did Anyhow, back to that tremor: nana was still alivee then, and she got up to investigate why the floor was shaking a bit (more like rocking the tiniest bit. Strange how people, even in the same area, didn't feel it). I freak out if there's a tornado watch or warning. I freak out during a thunderstorm. I freak out if it snows (though if I don't have anywhere to go, I don't mind). I freak out during rain and freezing rain. Speaking of which.. There's a rumor I was born during a snowstorm. There was a bad one in '96, and another just the other year (on my actual birthday, so celebrations had to be cancelled). Reply #41. Jan 18 18, 7:43 AM |
