Salami--you're young, you've got lots of time. Let's see.....I've been pretty much all over most of Europe (but haven't been to far Eastern Europe other than Hungary.) Been to Colombia and Venezuela, everywhere in Central America except Nicarauga and El Salvador. Also, Bermuda and most of the countries in the Caribbean, and all of North America. The two places I really want to visit are East Africa and Brazil. Really, I'd travel almost anywhere, but couldn't care less about Antarctica or the Arctic. Reply #4. Sep 18 12, 3:09 PM |

Apart from living in the United States, of which I've visited 30+, I have also been to 3 Canadian provinces, England twice, and France. My dream is to go to Italy. Kaddarsgirl, you mentioned my favorite country on earth-Italy. Big mistake, because I could ramble on about that country and its people for hours. I've been there four times and have really just scratched the surface of the country and culture. My dream is to rent a place in Tuscany and stay a couple of months. Yeah, I'm not sorry :D I have a huge list...as in pages...of stuff I want to do and see when I finally get to Italy,and I WILL get there, eventually. I actually took an Italian immersion language class last fall, just because I could. Also, because when I do get Italy, I don't want to be that annoying tourist that only speaks English. Reply #8. You will love it. The people are warm and friendly, and are very tolerant of my bad Italian. I know that the only way I'll really become fluent is to stay there for an extended period so that I'm forced to speak the language constantly. Reply #9. Sep 18 12, 7:50 PM |

Have been in all but 7 states in the U.S.; Mexico, Canada, Honduras, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, U.K., 2 islands in the Bahamas several times, passed through Germany, France, Scotland, but never got to southern Europe, Africa or Asia. I would like to have seen the Crimea, St. Petersburg, Archangelsk, the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, the Sahara desert, travel on the Siberian Railroad, Antarctica, Greenland...and Venice. Yes, I have been a traveler and have been in 56 countries. Just naming a few, China, India, Turkey, Greece, Russia, Morocco, Egypt, Morocco, all European countries including Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, all Caribbean islands with Cuba in the bunch, where I was born, etc. Babilonia Reply #15.
