According to CNN a 40.95-carat natural emerald was found in luggage that had been left behind and never claimed...small fortune. Reply #1. Jun 22 16, 6:48 PM |

Sounds like a smuggler's lost luggage. Reply #2. Jun 22 16, 7:32 PM |

I just googled Australian airlines, and some of the things they've had left behind are an artificial leg, a sleep apnea machine, a sewing machine, a vintage telephone and musical instruments. It said some 5,000 items were left behind last year. After a time, they action them off and give the proceeds to charity. Reply #3. Jun 23 16, 5:21 AM |

Not sure what year it was, but at an airport in Burlington, Vermont, USA, security found an unusual lipstick case in a woman's bag. On closer inspection, it was discovered that the lipstick was, in fact....a 350,000 volt stun-gun! In 2010, at Bangkok International Airport, Thailand, a woman was found with a sedated 2-month-old tiger cub hidden in her luggage. She admitted she'd been planning to sell the cub on the Iranian black market. Reply #5. Sep 28 16, 3:54 AM |
