Here is a link to information about a discovery in 1999 of an amazing bronze age plate from Germany, depicting the night sky. Before this find, historians did not think that bronze age folk had this kind of intellectual understanding of the sky. http://uk.businessinsider.com/nebra-sky-disk-is-oldest-depiction-of-universe-2015-1?r=US&IR=T

A bronze age settlement has been found near Peterborough in Cambridgshire, England on "Must Farm". The settlement was burned down but when the stilts it was standing on burned, it sank into the bog which preserved it. One interesting find is the earliest complete wheel in Britain, textiles, food in bowls, bronze axes, and imported beads. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2016/jul/14/uks-best-bronze-age-site-must-farm-dig-ends-analyis-continue-years

A planet recently discovered scientists believe may have some sort of atmosphere . Also of late discovered I believe 3 planets in one solar system in the right zone to possibly harbour liveable conditions . Of course all conjecture at the moment .

A Neptune like planet in another solar system . Findings like these recently , as with 3 or so possible earth like planets , seem to be quite frequent of late .
Stephen Hawking saying we possibly have 100 yrs left on this planet before we need to expand further , well at present we are nowhere near having the capability of even getting beyond our solar system . Its not just getting people up there , speeds required to get beyond ....but also think of the amount of provisions required even for a relatively few people .

We mustn't think it's o.k to keep on ruining the Earth because we may be able to get to another planet. There is nowhere near us that we are so adapted to, and that is so beautiful and perfect. We must stop ruining the Earth. Anything else is a cop-out.

Remains of a medieval traitor's daughter found. This is Blanche, daughter of Sir Roger Mortimer. Sir Roger Mortimer along with Edward II's wife, Isabella, overthrew Edward II who was subsequently murdered while in captivity. Roger Mortimer ruled with Isabella until Edward II's son, Edward III, came of age. Edward III had Roger Mortimer executed as a traitor.

Human footprints estimated to be at least 800,000 years old found in England beside the Thames at a time when hippos and rhinos roamed there as well. Amazing
