For the first time this new run, I have received my favorite Difficult Daily Challenge. This time it was to score a cumulative 13,541 points in Global Challenge games. Actual score? 14,788. And also moved up to Division 6 at the end of the morning set today. Reply #9802. Aug 25 21, 2:03 PM |

Passed both of my Impossible sets today, a very rare event for me when I play Hardcore. Also passed the Brain Twist and all of my non-Impossible games in both sets today, so managed to get advancement in every GC game I played today. I had a recent run where I passed 3 of 4 impossible (2 of them with 11 correct) but did not have 2 in one day. Also finally managed to succeed in you favorite challenge, Brian, where I needed 13.7K and broke 14K before the last impossible. 6-15's and 3-14's (and 1-12), all in 80 seconds or less pretty much did it for me. Just now graduated to Division 9 with this morning's set. I have passed all my Brain Twists this run. Got a 12/15 in Impossible this morning, my best effort in that this whole run. Had long spells in Division 8 where I didn't have good available choices and had to go with very iffy categories like Hobbies and Humanities. Several DQs in Division 8 games as a result. My Difficult Daily Challenge for today was to score a cumulative 13,803 points in Global Challenge games. My actual score was 15,014. I seem to always pass these, but today's performance was one of my better ones. Now at 77.4% progression through Division 9. Hard to believe I got the same Challenge only a few days after the last one. Today's was a squeaker, though. One of my poorest performances on this Challenge in years. The target was 13,046 points. I passed the Challenge with a 13,480. The DQ in Literature definitely didn't help. Now at 89.3% progress through Division 9. Probably will become Immortal on Saturday. Reply #9815. That has happened to me several times. It is because of rounding. In actuality, when this occurs the player is at something like 99.97% advancement (anything between 99.95% and 99.9999999%, actually), which the display rounds correctly to 100.0%, but because the actual number is less than 100% there is no graduation to the next Division.
