No idea on that and I am still searching for my 1st word or win, whatever you wanna call it. Reply #1. Jan 19 17, 11:12 AM |

I think my name qualifies in two halves? Reply #2. Jan 19 17, 2:15 PM |

Perhaps quite a few, but mostly those who signed up in the very early years of FT and are no longer active. Single word names get snatched up quickly, then words with numbers, then double word names, etc., etc. I've seen some recent FT joiners stringing together three word names. Reply #3. Runner upped on your own name? Ouch, that is rotten luck. The tiebreaker should at least give weightee dice in that case I think! For a possible bit of semi commiseration, my teammate fringe has missed a "fringe" hour while sleeping at least three different times Reply #4. Jan 19 17, 8:52 PM |

Yes, fringe. That's a good one. So that's 2, remember now, that have to be exact, no characters, numbers, or half of a name. Reply #5. Jan 20 17, 7:11 AM |

I know you'll disallow it, but salami_swami did win with both parts of his name. It probably should qualify! I have no chance, of course. Reply #7. Jan 24 17, 1:12 PM |

I don't know the bylaws here but I suspect the _ slices the Salami ;) and he would need to come back and at least win with the word "underscore" to get even provisional consideration as a qualifier. Reply #8. Jan 24 17, 2:03 PM |

You could try to scramble your name, Rossian. Sonars, arsons... Reply #9. Jan 24 17, 2:28 PM |

That one is pretty dang good rossian. So I'll tell you what, like namrewsna says, if he gets/has the word underscore, that's def. up there! (No scrambles!;) Reply #10. Jan 24 17, 4:25 PM |

I would guess very few. Our handles seem to be variations of our names (with or without number), nicknames only known to a private few (sorba_skank??) or just gibberish. Reply #13. Mar 19 17, 10:27 PM |

I don't think "Creedy" will ever be a winning word :) Reply #14. Mar 23 17, 8:12 PM |

Where is the rock and roll outlaw who created this thread? I demand to know where he is hiding! Ahyuk! Just kidding around, everyone, Varnish and I go way, WAY back, right, Varn? He is one of the rockiest, rolliest rock and roll outlaws I have ever known. We might even put a band together called the Fun Trivia Fanatics and put on a huge concert in your town. Anyway, Varn ol' buddy, I am just now discovering this thread and you know I have to contribute some kind of windy little contribution. I suppose my silly username would obviously never be a Crystal Ball word, and I don't know of any that you are looking for, but I still had to contribute. By the way, Mommakat, congrats on your 1000th CB win recently. That is quite a remarkable accomplishment. Reply #18. Nov 06 17, 4:04 AM |

First, I watched Varnish win with the word "shmo" and laughed so hard, and sent him a note, since I was trying to figure out how to spell "schmuck" when he won. Then, the next hour, "schmo" came up in my Word Wizard set. I'll never with my name, unless I can toss in "Coco" or "Chanel" or add "Little" or break up the words and remove an "S." Reply #20.
