Apart from the city in which I live (which is just a nice size - 700,000 pop.), I'll vote for Toronto and Montreal in Canada, and Hereford and York in England. Reply #1. May 07 09, 2:23 PM |

So far, out of the cities I have been to, it has to be Rogue River, Oregon. I think it is called that anyway. I was there in 1998 and it was beautiful. A far cry from Los Angeles. Reply #3. May 08 09, 12:39 PM |

Of the cities I have been to in Australasia/Oceania/USA/Sth America/SE Asia/UK/Middle East/Antarctica, my favourite is: LONDON, England. I was only there for a week, over 16 years ago, but will never forget it, and will always love it even if I don't get back there (which I most definitely will!). Reply #7. May 22 09, 7:39 AM |

Depends what you look for in a city. London for the history and culture, Stockholm for that peaceful feeling, all those trees and lakes and no skyscrapers, beautiful, Reykjavik and Madrid also have a certain charm, Rome is worth a visit for the history too. Reply #10. Jun 07 09, 7:13 AM |

Buenos Aires did it for me when I visited in 1998. Great style. Once I would have said London but it ain't what it used to be back when I moved there in the 60s! Reply #12. Aug 03 09, 5:16 PM |
