Subject: The Most Awe-Inspiring Natural Wonder

Posted by: Cymruambyth

There are many breath-taking natural sites in the world. Which one tops your list? Mine is Niagara Falls. I will never forget my first (and, to date, only) trip to the Falls. One can't help but be awestruck by the power of the water and their rugged beauty.

Fern Canyon in the Redwood National Forest,Humbolt County California is very awe inspiring. Jurassic Park 2 was filmed there. I hope this works.

The site I was trying to show had many pictures. I don't know why it only showed one.

Wastwater in the Lake District of northern England, one of the least known and most difficult to get to, so free of the crowds that you find elsewhere.

Picture below.

Niagra Falls is my first choice, but since it has already been named, a very close second is the Grand Canyon.

I love natural wonders and have seen the Grand Canyon, Ayer's Rock and the Great Barrier Reef. Not sure I could pick a favourite. I'd really like to see the white cliffs of Dover and Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland.

I agree boxjaw, we took the trail down through the entrance where the bats come out at night and walked down into the caverns, well worth the effort. But I was sure glad they had an elevator to get back up!

I like the white sands of Hyams beach in Jervis Bay. The water is almost bright blue on a sunny day. Its a great place to go for a swim. They have a sign there that says it is the whitest sand in the world.
