31 years old (just last year). I thought I was one of the last people to read her books...(I have yet to see any of the movies). Reply #2. Feb 18 08, 2:38 PM |

I was late 30-something when I read the first one. It is rather interesting that FT classifies HP in Children's Lit (which I guess it is), but most of us reading it are adults, lol. Reply #3. Feb 18 08, 5:00 PM |

I was 31 when I first read book 1. I liked to read the books that my children where reading so that we could talk about the story lines and plots. I have now read and reread all 7 books more times that I care to admit. Reply #4. Feb 19 08, 6:27 PM |

I was 27 when I read the first book - on a flight home from Germany. It wasn't until I started talking about it with fellow Americans that I realized that their version was not the Philosopher's Stone but rather the Sorcerer's Stone. Reply #7. Feb 21 08, 11:53 AM |

When I was 4 my cousin came over from Chicago and gave me the newest book out at the time: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Needless to say I was more into Barney, Sesame Street, and Babe and Ferdinand than Harry Potter, so I'd say the first book I read was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in the 1st grade. It was pretty darn good! Reply #11. Mar 03 08, 6:33 PM |

Well, I read my first nook when I was only 11 and it was a novel. DidnĀ“t understand much, but it was a good reading. But, about Harry Potter, well, I read one and it was last year. I was 35 years old. Reply #12. Mar 03 08, 6:43 PM |
