Ooo, the House Of Night series is good.
At the moment, I'm reading The Secret Circle and The Vampire Diaries, both by LJ Smith, and Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz.

I hope to begin the "Twilight" series soon. I want to see what all the fuss is about. Of all the people I've talked to who've read any of them, only one person didn't enjoy it.

The Clique. Still waiting to get a book from my library.
And I read Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging. Is there a second book?

I seem to spend half my life waiting for the next book in various series' to be published.
The "worst" is Katharine Kerr's "Deverry" series which has been going since 1986, and has one book left to be published.
I currently follow Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Dark Hunter"
Laurell K Hamilton's "Anita Blake"
and about 4 other series in the same genre, most of which seem to feature women called Mercedes or Rachel lol.

Thanks for the book list, Jabberwok.
I finished It's Not Easy Being Mean, the 7th book in The Clique, so next I'll search for It's Ok, I'm Wearing Really Big Knickers.

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I am always reading those, as they are my favorite books. Read and reread!

Ditto Twibli.

My son once told me, Tolkien fan that he was....."Mom, I think WOT is better than LOTR."

I said "psshaw!"

He was right. I'm reading them for the second time, and they are even better this go 'round.

I so look forward to the final volume due to come out in August '09, I believe. I hope this author does Robert Jordan justice.

Breezin, I am a hardcore RJ fan, and couldn't believe anyone could finish the series and do it justice, but then I read Brandon Sanderson's books, and I'm convinced he's more than up to the task. I'm looking forward to finding out how the series ends!
