Edge of space. Imagine miscalculating that by a centimeter or two and becoming a satellite. Reply #3. Oct 12 12, 10:58 PM |

There will be a 2 minute time delay in the broadcast, in case anything goes awry, a real possibility in this particular endeavor. Personally, i'm cheering for the guy. This guy has big brass ones to be attempting something like this. Imagine the view when he steps out of the space capsule, and what he will be experiencing when he makes that irrevocable jump and to approach the speed of sound, while in free fall for 6 to 7 minutes before you deploy the chute, all i can say is WOW. Apologies to David Bowie, but he will be 'The Man who Fell to Earth' Reply #5. Oct 13 12, 8:56 PM |

He did it, waiting to for a roller coaster to get to the top can take forever, imagine sitting in that capsule waiting for it to reach 128,000 feet. http://www.redbullstratos.com/#!RedBullMedia Reply #11. Oct 14 12, 9:31 PM |
