Subject: MBTI Personality Types

Posted by: Daaanieeel

I was interested in finding out the personality types of FT members (a few in particular, but I won't name names).

For those who don't know what this is, Wikipedia describes it better than I ever could. link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator

If you haven't done the test before, then the best free online one I could find is this. link http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

No offence intended to anyone, but years ago (1986) I had to do a workshop on this topic at my workplace. At the time, I thought it was the biggest load of old cobblers I'd ever come across. Nothing has changed my mind in the interim.

I have taken various MBTI tests over the last 30 years and always come out INTJ. I find the descriptions pretty accurate and reassuring that I'm not the only one (only 2% of the population, though). The tests tell me that I'm rationally based. What none of those tests tell me is how to deal with a world that isn't rational.

Although when I did this test before, I was an INTP. I guess one of the two is my secondary personality type.
