Recently bought a product called 'Create a Jelly!' You simply dissolve the clear jelly crystals in boiling water then add a cup of your favourite cordial, fruit juice or soft drink. I like beet jelly. Tastes good, but it also has a "jewel-like" colour. Pomegranate jelly is similar in beauty and taste. Add some fresh mango on top and you have a hit. *shudders* Those are some pretty out-there flavors, folks. There's a company here in Florida that makes a mango jam, quite good but very sticky, but I can only find it in Rhode Island for some reason. I've tried another tropical fruit jam of theirs that wasn't as good, but the name escapes me right now. They also make a red pepper jelly I won't even try. Reply #9. Dec 03 14, 10:38 PM |
