I'll be in it. Do we need to claim a title or line, to avoid duplication, or just go for it? Reply #1. Nov 25 09, 2:41 AM |

You may claim it on here if you wish, but any themed title will be going towards the goal. :) You may also write more than one. Reply #2. Nov 25 09, 3:34 AM |

Nice idea. I'll definitely do one, but probably not in music. My favourite carol of all is 'It Came Upon the Midnight Clear' but I've already done a quiz with that title for a challenge. Reply #3. Nov 25 09, 5:23 AM |

I feel a certain obligation to write a quiz about snowmen in some form or another. Time to get my thinking cap on. Reply #4. Nov 25 09, 6:01 AM |

This sounds like fun. I think it's time for my first quiz Reply #5. Nov 25 09, 8:56 AM |

I like being contrarian. Do Hanukkah carols (like "I Have a Little Dreidel") and winter carols (like "Winter Wonderland" or "Baby It's Cold Outside", songs with no religious content that are often lumped in with true Christmas carols) count? And these can be on any subject suggested by the title, right? Reply #6. Nov 25 09, 10:14 AM |

I'll get started on a quiz on the history of Christmas trees (O Christmas Tree)! Reply #9. Nov 25 09, 12:13 PM |

I've got three in mind already. One I'm definitely going to look to do is a quiz on "Good King Wenceslas". The other two are based (loosely) on lines from "I Saw Three Ships" and "In the Bleak Midwinter". Reply #10. Nov 25 09, 1:39 PM |

I have one in mind, but I have to finish my commission quiz first! And probably the Rwanda quiz I've been working on on paper for months. Reply #11. Nov 25 09, 3:23 PM |

Is this one already? Or a happy coincidence? http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Music/Bah-Humbug--10-Ways-to-Ruin-Christmas-318285.html Reply #12. Nov 25 09, 4:59 PM |

I think it's a happy coincidence- I don't think 'Bah Humbug!' is a term from any carols- just the Dickens book. Reply #13. Nov 25 09, 5:00 PM |

I'm going to have a go at one based on a line from Carol of The Bells. Reply #14. Nov 26 09, 4:31 PM |

I will play, Kyle! I'm working on a quiz based on the Christmas carol "Mary Did You Know", so please, no duplicates! :) This will be fun! :) Reply #15. Nov 26 09, 6:35 PM |

Hm, I have several ideas now. But I think some of them would be hard to pan out into 10-question quizzes. We'll see :) Reply #16. Nov 26 09, 7:13 PM |

Does anyone know the Carol "Three King from Persian Lands Afar"? I ask because it's not known very well here... Reply #18. Nov 28 09, 10:00 AM |

Does it have to be a Christmas carol? Can it be just a Christmas song, but not necessarily a carol. Reply #19. Nov 28 09, 11:33 AM |

Assuming one with this theme hasn't been done before (I haven't checked thoroughly as yet) I'd like to sign up for one with ANIMALS appearing in various Christmas songs Reply #20. Nov 28 09, 12:15 PM |
