We'll have a bit of fun with this 'Stepping Up' iteration. For those of you always up for a challenge, make yourself known here, before any titles are shown, and you will be randomly assigned one of our next 'Stepping Up' titles on November 1st. As always, the titles will be some of the oldest on the list in an effort to clear them away. There will be twelve titles in total, so any remaining that aren't claimed at random will be up for grabs as normal after the first. :)
Those who wish to receive their titles at random will need to select their titles as soon as possible, otherwise they risk them being taken too soon. Your name will be placed next to a title when they're announced.
For the rest of you, the point behind this challenge is to deal with the titles at the bottom of the Author's Challenges list found at

This'll be my first "Stepping Up". What's the deal? Do these all come from the author challenges? Once I have my title assigned do I need to go claim it from the list? You got it-- none of the other Stepping Ups have done this before. Once the titles are listed in a couple of hours, you'll need to claim it from the Challenges list.
