Do we get to choose our team, or will it be random? I guess, what I'm saying is, am I allowed to begin messaging people asking them to be on my team so we can have a super-supremely awesome team that will dominate? :P Reply #2. Dec 13 11, 11:54 AM |

You guys can make your own team. I anticipate at least two or three strong teams of two to four because we have enough authors for it. Keep in mind though-- some people aren't available at all times and some authors don't like certain categories. In other words, it's all on you guys if your team isn't well-balanced. Reply #3. My personal recommendation is for some of our more prolific authoring teams to band together-- it might make it easier to collaborate in a board setting. Of course, there are several ways around this. I'm excited to see how this turns out. :) Reply #4. Dec 13 11, 11:57 AM |

Kyle, I need a team member.... ;-) Just kidding. I assume you won't be joining a team? Or a team all of your own. :P Reply #5. Dec 13 11, 12:01 PM |

Sounds interesting, I should be able to get at least a couple of members of my team to join in on this Challenge. Reply #7. Dec 13 11, 12:27 PM |

I'm just sending notes off to teams right now-- I'll send a copy your way to post on the board. :) Reply #8. Dec 13 11, 12:28 PM |

I've already planned the first leg of the race and I'm purposely avoiding problem areas. I assure there will be as few hold-ups as possible. :) I really think people will enjoy the challenges set out. Some are pretty interesting. Reply #10. Dec 13 11, 12:55 PM |

So does each member of a team for this game have to be a member of the same FT team, or can people team up with anyone they like? Reply #14. Dec 13 11, 2:02 PM |

Anyone can team up with anyone. :) Teams make things a bit easier, like I said, and I sent invites to some teams specifically (especially those with active authors) but it's not mandatory. Reply #15. Dec 13 11, 2:04 PM |

Well I'm definitely in and I've alerted the rest of my team to see if we can race as Pi in the Sky. We have several prolific authors so hopefully a couple of them will be available for this. (I know some have real life evnts pending that may prevent them) Reply #16. Dec 13 11, 5:01 PM |

Quick Question: ... is it a condition that an individual author within the team completes the quiz or are team quizzes eligible in this Reply #18. Dec 13 11, 6:29 PM |

Team quizzes are acceptable only if the entire race team is on the same FT team. There are a number of clues on the race course which require that a team quiz not be used; there are none which explicitly ask for a team quiz. If a team quiz is made, it can not be added to by someone who is not in the race team. Reply #19. Dec 13 11, 6:36 PM |
