YES! Oh Yes! This is exactly the quiz-writing boost I've been wanting! With such extreme deadlines as this, it'll push me to actually finish writing some of the quizzes I've currently got, and make room for this wonderfulness! Reply #1. Jul 31 13, 9:33 AM |

And I love how the Amazing Race is the Buzzy Bee currently, when you posted this. ;) Reply #2. Jul 31 13, 9:40 AM |

I thought it was a great coincidence too. Season 7 was the only one not to go across the International Date Line. They went in a big circle to India and back. ;) I'll always remember teams eating four pounds of meat in Argentina...and herding llamas in Peru. Reply #3. Jul 31 13, 9:43 AM |

I had no idea, but congrats and phew! ;) Will the Four Winds blow again? I'm curious to see the team line-ups this time. From what I hear, the some editors want to band together. Pro-team. Because of the new clue distribution rules, they're on a completely even playing field. Reply #6. Jul 31 13, 9:52 AM |

Now that I've read your post after my initial excitement, I must say the changes are great news. Reply #7. Jul 31 13, 9:54 AM |

The changes are great news. There can be no show of bias; teams will need to rely on each other all the more; editors don't need to feel pressure. It also gives more freedom for unique challenges-- there will still be a race around the categories, by all means, but there will be more dynamic tasks. Reply #8. Jul 31 13, 9:55 AM |

For all participants, I very, very strongly advise having four members this time around. Three at the very least (though I will, of course, accept two-player teams). The pace of this race will be faster and the tasks will really stretch you across the site. And yes, I will try to keep pace like last time. We'll see if I can make it into the third leg. I would be interested in participating, but I don't have a team put together. If another team has an open slot, send me a FT note and I'll get back to you. I have 35 quizzes online and I have the 15 Categories Badge, so I have experience writing in many different categories. I also participated in the FT Sprint. Thanks in advance! Reply #13. I do hope my fellow Winds are up for this. I would love to work with them again, and it would be nice to have something to unblock my quiz writing stagnation! Reply #15. Jul 31 13, 11:35 AM |
