FT has members from all over the world, and it's nice to learn a bit about all the world's countries. My global education was dreadfully lacking in the America-centric schools I attended in the sixties. I'm looking foward to the next several months :-) Reply #3. Jan 30 10, 6:37 AM |

Yay, Day 1 is India. And the Indian community in Malaysia here is celebrating their Thaipusam today, too. :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaipusam Reply #4. Jan 30 10, 8:46 AM |

I thoroughly enjoyed the first edition of the bus tour today, looking forward to learning a bit about all 195 if I can do it! Reply #5. Jan 30 10, 9:05 AM |

I'm glad you like it. I am actually going to participate fairly regularly in this game because I'd love to learn a little more about the countries of the world. Anyone who actually plays this game daily for 6 months is going to know an awful lot about the planet. The thing is, this information isn't entirely useless either. I can think of many situations where knowing where places are and who people are can be very helpful. Reply #6. Jan 30 10, 9:15 AM |

That was not only fun but I learned a great deal. I never thought I would become an international "traveler". Reply #8. Jan 30 10, 9:43 AM |

I think it was a good quiz but I must have slept through some of the trip (as usual) because I only got half of the answers correct. Reply #12. Jan 30 10, 12:02 PM |

Like this! Could you place a link for all quizzes. If we miss a day, we can take them anyway? Even without the bonus points, it would be fun to take them all. Reply #18. Jan 31 10, 12:20 PM |
