As far as I can tell, it seems Terry will have it reset every 195 days to go again. You could, then, win the 80 wins badge by waiting and doing the same quiz 80 times. Not recommended, of course. ;-) But also, he will switch out the quizzes every once and a while, if you challenge the quiz, claiming you can make a better quiz. ;-) Reply #1. Feb 10 10, 9:45 AM |

I hope the quiz doesn't reset every 195 days. That would make it virtually impossible for those of us who have to be out of town and without internet access occasionally to ever win the the badge. A pretty severe penalty for missing one day of play. Reply #2. Feb 10 10, 9:59 AM |

But you only need to play 80 for the badge, don't you? And since it loops at 195 days, you could miss every second day and still get it.. no? That was my understanding of it. Also, I didn't think your quiz count reset at the end of 195 days, I think that's just when we start repeating countries. Correct me if I'm wrong though! Reply #3. Feb 10 10, 10:08 AM |

So could have to wait rather a long time to complete a missed country as I believe country selection is random. If you missed the first country this time round it could be the last next time! Reply #4. Feb 10 10, 10:40 AM |

No, it doesn't reset. What Terry said was that you could end up playing Canada twice, and it count as two countries towards your 80. :-) And my understanding of it, it IS random, but the EXACT same order will be put again after the 195 days. So it day 42 was Luxembourg, after the 195 days, day 42 will be Luxembourg again. If I'm understanding it correctly, that is. ;-) Reply #5. Feb 10 10, 10:54 AM |

The bus route loops back to the start when the 195 days are done. Your "days completed" does not reset. You would get credit for taking the same country again in the future once it loops. Reply #6. Feb 10 10, 11:49 AM |

If the 195 badge does come up. surely it should require all 195 being visited? I know this could take some time if you miss a country, but there are a lot of badges here that take months of concerted effort. Not to mention the Luck Duck which I am still waiting for. Someday my duck will come. Reply #7. Feb 11 10, 1:51 AM |

If there's ever a 195 badge, it should really require visiting all 195 countries. Maybe at the very end, when you have 192 or more, you could be granted 3 plane tickets to visit he last few without having to wait half a year :) Reply #8. Feb 11 10, 4:49 AM |

When the bus comes around for it's second loop on the 196th day, will it be the same quiz for that country? Provided there are more then one quiz on that country of course. Will there eventually be a listing somewhere of the stops (quizzes) the bus has made since it began? Reply #10. Feb 11 10, 10:19 AM |

I think, if there is 195 badge, it should be tough to get, EVERY country must be visited. :-) Reply #11. Feb 11 10, 3:36 PM |

Cool... 195 days is my target... We should have a 'special' badge for 195 days in the SAME loop of the Bus Ride! That'd be cool. Reply #12. Feb 12 10, 3:05 PM |

But a bummer for those of us who missed the first day, and are religiously playing every day since then! Reply #13. Feb 13 10, 1:16 AM |

When it resets, will there be a chance to see which countries you have and which you haven't? As everyone has said, the 195 days should only be awarded when you've visited EVERY country :) Reply #14. Feb 13 10, 11:23 AM |

I've got a Lucky Duck, but I'm WAY behind on the bus ride. I didn't even discover it until about two weeks after it started. But I'm having a lot of fun. In fact, this is one of the funnest things about funtrivia! Reply #15. Apr 13 10, 11:08 AM |

I'd like to put in my two cents here: I DID miss the first day and I've been out of town as well for the full day, so I find myself two days/countries behind. Save me from insanity! Wesley Crusher had a good idea about "plane tickets" (I'd make it five - not everyone leads such an ordered life!) and I can't be keeping track of 195 countries and when a particular country is slated to come around again. There has to be a way to be hijacked to Destination Badge! Cheers, Chevy Reply #16. Jun 06 10, 3:17 PM |

Plane tickets seem like a great idea. I think I have missed two days of playing. Reply #17. Jun 20 10, 5:53 AM |

Badges aside; the only thing that I'm disappointed is that I missed out learning about those countries. So no matter what, I will eventually take the bus to those countries one day. This bus trip has been my favourite part of FT lately. The knowledge that I've gained and will retain because I use whatever it takes: CIA,Wiki and google. Thank you! Reply #19. Jun 20 10, 6:38 PM |

Is there an answer to the question about where we might find a list of the countries we have visited? I would LIKE to visit all of them. Getting two countries counted for one visit to the same place, I agree, isn't typical for Funtrivia. I agree a person CAN wait for a country to come around again. Otherwise, it's more a matter of just getting to the keyboard everyday, than challenge. Maybe creative Terry can come up with something fantastic. Reply #20. Feb 19 11, 6:01 PM |
