Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but the obvious out-of-date question in today's Bus Ride through Slovakia is the currency one, as Slovakia adopted the Euro in 2009 (and this isn't an answer option). Obviously the quiz writer way back when may not have been able to anticipate that.

Also I was a bit perplexed by the sport question which offered alternative answers of 'Football', 'Soccer' and 'American Football'. Methinks there's a bit of overlap there ...

Your issues look like the sort of thing for a correction note.

I sent one already. I was in Slovakia last August, and even though there were prices in both Koruna and Euros, there was nowhere that took Koruna anymore. My travel agent tried to sell me some before I went, but I pointed out that the travel website said that Euros were the only acceptable currency, so a lot of people are unaware of the changeover.

Thanks BxBarracuda and mjws1968. I've put a correction note in on the sport question, so that's both of them covered now.

I thought the sports options had been chosen deliberately so people would pick the right one...

I saw nothing wrong with the sports question. It was quite easy I thought.

You could replace Football with Rugby, which is popular in some parts of Europe.

Slovakia adopted Euro in 2009. The quiz was placed online in 2002, when Slovakia really used koruna, so technically it´s not a mistake of the quiz.

The sports question is a bit clumsy, but in fact the three footballs and one ice-hockey were a clue for me. I took it as an odd one out.

Yes the sports question was easy. But my point is that the three wrong alternatives should at least be three alternatives, even if the quiz author's pointing us towards the right answer.

As stated in the Authors Chat Lounge, and on another thread here, everyone is welcome to write a quiz and offer it as a replacement if they feel a country is not well represented on the Bus Ride. If the quiz gets a lot of corrections, it will probably be taken offline and placed high on the list of countries in need of new quizzes.

I enjoyed the quiz, it was very informative about Slovakia, which is a great country well worth a visit but sadly neglected in favour of the more touristy cities of Vienna, Prague and Budapest that surround it. Bratislava is well worth a visit for the museums and Hapsburg architecture.
