See it was a 25Q quiz and just not bother today? Or am I just.that.lazy lol (which wouldn't really surprise me :-D) I just couldn't summon the energy or enthusiasm to look up and check enough answers to make sure I scored the necessary mark. I might go back later and just pick at random on the off chance I score 13, as the only thing about El Salvador I actually know is the Capital which may not even be a Q.

I felt as you did Rowena - 25 questions is just too long for this, and the El Salvador google page (AND the pages that led on from it) didn't help much with a lot of the questions. I DID wade through it for my Bus Ride total, but felt I was losing the will to live!

I certainly wouldn't call it enjoyable, and some of it wasn't even easy to Google. I think it's the only quiz on El Salvador in the Geography category.

I found it very hard also, I guessed on many after Google, Wikipedia and many other search options failed, but still managed to get 19/25

There were a few Spanish sites that helped, but, otherwise, this was a very tedious quiz.

I'll do it later when I am able to give it my full attention.

I played because I'm already a day down It wasn't as intersting as some I've played and thought it overlong ~ I was glad to get to the last question.

I played it because I think I am 3 games back. It was very hard to find answers by googling, and I guessed at some but I got my points.

I thought it was absolutely fine - I know it's a personal choice, but seeing as Googling/looking on Wiki seems to be so tedious, I'm fine with just my guesses! :P You guys may as well play it anyway, as you never know, you may be able to guess your way through. (I didn't :P)

Well, I did guess my way through and didn't do very well. Not only was it a long quiz, but an awful lot of questions had to do with volcanos.

I have to admit that when I made the original post, I hadn't even read the quiz - I literally saw that it was 25 questions and backed straight out :-| That alone was enough for me. I did go back later and guess, and got the 13 I needed for the score for today so that's something, but I couldn't tell you what any of the questions or answers actually said, other than the "date one" isn't 1812 lol.

It was a lot of questions, and some of it was tough to find on Wikipedia or Yahoo. But I did learn some interesting things about El Salvador.
I kept up with a quite a bit back in the 1980s, when the US was supplying arms to corrupt governments there. And I was on a delegation to Mexico with a guy from El Salvador who had the distinction of being declared "persona non grata" (Let's Latin for Troublemaker) and kicked out of Mexico.

Remember, the point of the trip is learn about the world. But somebody should write a shorter El Salvador quiz.

I groaned, but did it. There are very few countries about which 25 REALLY interesting questions can be written!

I am with you...I saw it was 25 questions and just groaned...I did not have the energy to do the research but I did do the quiz...just point and click. My score reflected my laziness.

Sorry, I just can't do a 25 question quiz that asks what colour dress does a girl wear or what is her father's occupation, etc. I believe that I'm not hurting anyone's feelings because the author has not been on in over a year. This is my least favourite type of quiz. I guess that I will be two quizzes short on our bus ride. But, I'm so enjoying the trip and where it will take us next. This is a long pit spot. Don't spend too much money in the souvenir shop.

At least, being 25 different towns alphabetically (except for a shortage of suitable candidates at the end of the alphabet leading to an abundance of 'W' towns) it seemed to have a reason, not just be drifting aimlessly and unedited through the ether.
