Two years doing what? Are you imprisoned in Bagram AFB? Reply #1. Aug 04 11, 9:06 AM |

Well that really does sound like an exceptional tour of Afghanistan, am sure not many could mark themselves 10/10. Like Houston I am intrigued to hear what you have been doing there for the last 2 years and if you ever spotted old OBL in them there hills? Reply #2. Aug 04 11, 9:56 AM |

How much longer do you have to stay there? You did get 10/10. Imagine, if after being there two years, you had a 0/10. You are learning and that is a good thing.... Reply #3. Aug 04 11, 10:25 AM |

My nephew is a sniper there. We worry about him all the time. I heard a few days ago that they are sending him back to Germany because he brokes some ribs and has some other injuries. We don't know for sure if he is telling us everything because about three monthe ago he was injured with shrapnel and did not tell us until much later. Reply #4. Aug 04 11, 10:50 AM |

When a relative came back from duty, due to injuries, we didn't find out the entire situation until he was state-side permanently. I hope your nephew has a excellent recovery, honeybee. Reply #5. Aug 04 11, 11:27 AM |

I have a relative in Afghanistan. My cousin's son is a doctor with Doctors Without Borders. Not a safe place, and Im glad that Canadian combat troops are back on Canadian soil. There are still 1,000 Canadian soldiers there, training Afghani forces. Reply #6. Aug 04 11, 3:28 PM |

Just keeping safe and sound at KAIA, originally had 350 BOG, since first deployment, want to make the most of it, extended a year. Figure that people were here when I wasn't and if I was here other wouldn't have to be. Due to rotate out beginning of Sept 2011. Hard to believe almost spent a 1/5 of the campaign here. Reply #7.
