Mr. Croft has passed away. His sitcoms include 'Are You Being Served' 'Allo'Allo' and 'Dad's Army'...some of my favorites. He worked with Jeremy Lloyd.

Thank you, Mr. Croft. I enjoyed your work very much.

Same here, his work was funny and insightful and has not become less so with the passage of time, whilst some comedies from the seventies are now unwatchable and more social history than comedy. The fact that so much of his work is repeated a lot on nostalgia channels shows how good it is, you get Dad's Army and Allo Allo at least once a week and hopefully there will be more shown in tribute to him, even the occasionally irritating Hi-de-Hi, which is still hysterically funny. He will be sadly missed, modern comedy is all about demographics and laughs-by-numbers, it lacks the spontenaiety and laughing at the eccentricities of British society so endemic to Mr Croft's work.

Listen carefully, I shall say this only once.
The Brit's are best at comedy programs by a long, long way. 'Allo 'allo is my all time favourite.

I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I wasn't wearing my glasses. 8-)
