Premiering during the 2011 Superbowl was a new Snickers commercial featuring Roseanne Barr alongside comedian Richard Lewis. I am a huge Roseanne fan and have taken to buying/eating Snickers almost daily. I am hoping that sales for the candy bar will go up and the Snickers people will know their advertisement worked.
Who will join me on this mission?
I know, it's probably silly...
but if you will buy at least one Snickers Candy Bar because of the commercial (or this post), then I'd be happy to hear it!

Hannah, what assumptions are you making? Me too. I think they're delicious, and difficult to resist. I'd eat one because I wanted to, not because someone famous was telling me to, no matter how much I admired the famous someone. Nor do I have any intention of using Ponds cold cream, just because Kylie Minogue has just put her name to it: and I will vote and shop as I decide, not how and where John Cleese would like me to. I won't buy a product because a celebrity endorses it, but I have been known to boycott certain things because of a celebrity endorser. I guess no more Snickers for me. AntonLaVey, I don't buy products because celebrities endorse them. I enjoy Snickers any way and I love Roseanne; she is my hero, so I want the Snickers sales to go up to show that Roseanne is still loved; at least by me. They don't alter my opinions of a product. I still like the product I am boycotting, like I do Snickers. I just refuse to buy it when I know it is associated with a certain celebrity I don't like for various reasons, Roseanne being one of them. Get rid of Roseanne and I will start buying Snickers again.
