Humanities (literature!?) or hobbies (interests)- I'd say it was an even shot but I'm not an editor. I had a little website from 2000 when Hotmail gave me one, and started a blog there a few years later when I didn't know the official sites, a year later I was shown BlogSpot, and have been sharing my own thoughts there ever since. They used to be active, our interests linked with others and we read each other's and commented, then they removed the links and my 50 hits a day dropped to under 10, then they brought them back but half the old lot or more had stopped posting. Then we got them here and I shared the posts between them (as I still do although now they are only virtual). Then I started a new blog for my work on exposing organised fraud, it grew so long in the end I have taken all the material and drafted it into a book and am looking for a publisher. It basically gives everyone the chance to share absolutely anything they want and unlimited opportunities per subject, and would be even better if more people read and commented like they used to. Wow. Would you had thought of writing a book like that if it were not for the blog? I wonder why I don't have any followers in my blog. Is it because it is not confined to a specific genre? Because I've always thought about switching to a books and movies review blog. Reply #2. May 04 13, 1:23 AM |
